Come celebrate the entertainment history of Newmarket at The Riverwalk Commons Lion’s Hall on March 19th at 7:30pm as the Newmarket Historical Society presents “Entertainment Newmarket”. Rick MacLeod will be talking about his research into the popular music heard in theatres, night clubs, coffee houses and concert halls. Everyone is welcome. The Historical Society meets every third Wednesday of the month except for July, August and December. Admission is free. New members to the Newmarket Historical Society are always welcome at the monthly meetings, the annual fee is $15.
