Join Erin Cerenzia and the Newmarket Historical Society at The Riverwalk Commons Lion’s Hall at 7:30 pm as she presents her talk The Time Traveler’s Life: To Europe and Back. Ms. Cerenzia recently graduated from Western with a Master’s degree in History and will be will be discussing her research on World War I veteran Thomas Jaffray Robertson Jr., a fallen solider she discovered through her research in the Newmarket Historical Society’s Archives. Included will be her trip to European World War I monuments and battlefields that was part of her research. Everyone is welcome. The Historical Society meets every third Wednesday of the month except for July, August and December. Admission is free. New members to the Newmarket Historical Society are always welcome at the monthly meetings, the annual fee is $15.
