The Newmarket Historical Society Archives are located in the Elman Campbell Museum on Main Street in Newmarket. They are staffed entirely by volunteers and funded by members of the Historical Society and donations.

The Newmarket Historical Society Archives are currently undergoing an exciting restoration project, to rebuild the Archives into a fully serviceable and easy to navigate collection, fulfilling the NHS’ mission of preserving the past for the future of Newmarket. The Archives will be closed for regular access until the restoration is complete, however special requests for research will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
